Eric Wilson
Eric is a multi-instrumentalist playing numerous styles of music on the guitar, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle. At the age of 5, Eric began his musical studies on the piano and later played the cello in his youth orchestra. He began learning the guitar at age 13 and has been playing for 35 years. After graduating from the University of Iowa, Eric studied classical guitar performance at Saint Charles Community College with maestro Kirk Hanser. While studying guitar he attended master classes with Jorge Morel, Pavel Steidl, and Manuel Barrueco.
Eric began teaching ensemble guitar lessons at the Saint Louis Academy for Guitar as well as teaching classroom guitar at the University City Sunrise Conservatory. He is a former owner-instructor of two teaching studios and is a seasoned performer and service musician.
